Team introduction

Azar Studio

The Android team aims to develop an Azar client that users all over the world can enjoy. Since many people are using the app, stability is important, and fast delivery is also important to keep up with the market.

In order to reduce debugging time, which consumes a large portion of development time, we aim to write code that is less prone to bugs in the first place. To this end, we are collaborating with meticulous code reviews on PR of all codes, and we are continuously striving to increase test coverage.

Structurally, if one part is modified, an MVVM-based architecture is applied that does not cause unexpected side effects in other places, but the related parts work well on their own. In addition, in order to increase productivity, we are working on overall structure improvement to a responsive app based on RXJava.

We conduct regular pull request-based code reviews so that we can understand each other even if the code is not written by ourselves and anyone can modify it if necessary.
Troubleshooting
We monitor whether the deployed application is creating the pleasant experience we expect, and if there are any problems, we fix them as quickly as possible. In order to maximize the crash-free session, we are working all the time, and in addition, we monitor various network/connection indicators in real time to ensure that the service operation maintains predictable quality.
Architectural improvement
We actively consider introducing a new technology or paradigm if it can increase productivity in the long run. Improve overall code readability and reduce unintended side-effects with a consistent and predictable structure and more flexible and powerful tools.
Eligibility
Understanding of Android platform and experience in developing commercial services
Familiarity with Java, Kotlin and JVM development environment
Understanding of CS basic knowledge (algorithms, data structures, memory models, operating systems, etc.)
Those who have a basic understanding of RxJava
Those who are familiar with writing thread-safe code
Ability to read technical documents in English
Those familiar with Git
(If you are not a native Korean) Able to listen and read Korean and communicate in English
